A director runs every client relationship. That is not a scaling problem we have failed to solve — it is the product. When a hiring manager calls about a role, they reach someone who can commit to a rate, resolve a contracting question and make a decision in the same conversation.
We tell clients and candidates what is true, including when it costs us the work. If we cannot fill a role, we say so on day five. If a candidate is not right, we say why. If a rate is unrealistic for the market, we say that before the interview rather than after the offer.
And we finish. A placement is not complete when the contract is signed. It is complete when the consultant has been through onboarding, is delivering, and has somewhere to go when the assignment ends.
